As a Senior Researcher at Communispace, Katrina conducts in-depth studies that explore participation trends and social dynamics within private online communities, shed fresh light on current trends and engage consumers in real conversations about their lives. Her work serves both internal and external clients, helping to provide thought leadership, support Communispace's value proposition and inform our best practices. Recent “hits” include “The Sandwich Situation: A layered look at the complex lives of multi-generational caregivers” and “Local Eyes: The newly focused consumer lens.”
You’re also likely to see Kat and her trusty camera roaming the halls of Communispace in her role as our Corporate Videographer. She uses her expertise to craft member-generated content into videos that bring the consumer (and our insights) to life for our clients. She also creates a variety of media for internal use on our website and blog, in training sessions, and, of course, at our annual Follies and Thanksgiving events
Kat is a native of the Boston area, and is grateful to live in a city that allows her to indulge her passion for professional sports year-round. In her free time, she can be found hiking in the White Mountains, playing kickball, trying new restaurants, baking and spending time with her friends, family and pair of endlessly entertaining cats. She graduated from the University of Connecticut with a degree in sociology and statistics, and holds certificates in media production and sports journalism from Emerson College and Boston University, respectively.
